Launched: The Largest Campaign To End Animal Testing

FACT: Over 80% of the world still 
allow animals to be used in cruel experiments

Today, Cruelty Free International launched the largest campaign to date to see a global ban on animal testing. In collaboration with The Body Shop, they are asking for consumers to sign a pledge & say no to cruel cosmetics. The petition will be available to sign in over 300 Body Shop stores throughout the UK & over the up & coming weeks The Body Shop will be taking the petition to stores in 65 countries across the globe including the USA; Australia, South Africa, Hong Kong, India, Thailand, Mexico & Saudi Arabia. It is estimated that over 275 million people visit The Body Shop each year & to increase accessibility the pledge is also available online.

Established by The BUAV, Cruelty Free International are the first organisation & global campaign dedicated to ending cosmetics testing on animals throughout the world. Fronted by their ambassador Ricky Gervais they are working with governments; regulators, companies & partner organisations in order to develop a global strategy & put an end to cruel cosmetics.
