☠ Alison Claire Remarkable Lavender & Chamonmile Body Lotion

I'd like to share with you a rather lovely Lavender & Chamonmile Body Lotion which I was recently sent to review. I'm not sure why, but I'm currently going through a Lavender phase & I can't get enough of it's beautiful scent. When I was given the opportunity to review Alison Claire's Remarkable Lavender & Chamonmile Body Lotion I jumped at the chance...

First things first, let me introduce you to the brand - The Alison Claire Body & Beauty range pride themselves in creating products which are naturally beautiful. The range was developed as a response to the awareness of the possible harmful effects as a result to some of the chemicals which can be found within hair & body products.

They focus upon the ingredients which they eliminate from their products.

The Alison Claire Remarkable collection contain "no fillers, no harsh preservatives, no synthetic fragrances, no colours. Just lots and lots of lovely effective naturalness!"

✿ My Thoughts

The packaging is simple & the product speaks for itself. The first thing I noticed about this body lotion was it's beautiful yet subtle scent. Lavender & Chamonmile are popular for their calming & soothing properties & that really comes through with this products.  The lotion is rich, however it is quickly absorbed & leaves the skin feeling soft & moisturised without any residue.

I'm pleased to say the Lavender smells fresh & the product smells 'earthy' & natural... In my opinion, when a product contains nasty chemicals, it's difficult to disguise them & this product does not disappoint, it does not contain artificial ingredients & it certainly doesn't smell artificial.

✿ Key Ingredients

✿ Lavender: reduces redness - balances the skin - calming aroma
✿ Chamonmile: antiseptic - anti-inflammatory properties - soothing aroma
Almond Oil: contains vitamin E - nourishes the skin - has emollient properties
Aloe: moisturises the skin - supplies oxygen to skin cells - hydrates the skin
✿ Witch Hazel: has astringent properties - soothes the skin - refreshes the skin
✿ Gingko Biloba: anti-oxidant properties - protects against free radicals - antibacterial

Last night, I applied the lotion after bathing, before putting on my pj's. The scent lingered long enough for me to fall asleep  calm & relaxed.

This product is available direct from Alison Claire & retails at £12 for 200ml, which I think is a fair price for such a lovely product! With each application, a little bit of product goes a long way & it would make a wonderful gift &/or lovely luxurious treat for oneself.

  2. Nice! I have a lot of trouble finding lavender lotions that actually smell like, well, lavender. Too many smell like baby powder to me. Yucky!

  3. I am proud to say that most beauty products that I use now are not tested on animals & are of natural ingredients! I think that this is the only way makeup & most products should be made regardless, especially if it is going inside or on your body! I love your reviews & you are giving me new products to try! I love lavender & think it is quite soothing of a scent too! Thanks for sharing!! :)
